Be inspired by the beauty of a crisp fall evening in Olbrich's outdoor gardens! Watch the flames from bonfires dance on the Great Lawn, groove to live music, enjoy a variety of food offerings provided by some of Madison's favorite food carts, and sip frothy Wisconsin micro-brews!

Flutes at Dawn

Flutes at Dawn is a nonprofit organization focused on community-based education and cross-cultural understanding through Music, Dance, and Digital Media. We create live performances, youth programs, adult workshops, and online content that are entertaining, enriching, and multicultural.

Flutes at Dawn will provide a variety show of performance at CRACKLE!

The LINE-UP

7-7:50 p.m. - Three piece instrumental funk/soul band with guest vocalists

7:50-8 p.m. - DJ Q the Sun

8-8:50 p.m. - Traditional Afro-Latin drumming and singing with dancers with crowd participation

8:50-9 p.m. - DJ Q the Sun

9- 10 p.m. - Five piece band with singers, rappers, and dancers

Tickets are non-refundable - Event is held rain or shine

  • Music, bars, and food vendors will be moved inside in the event of heavy rain.
  • Viewing GLEAM during a CRACKLE event is an extra benefit offered only during the CRACKLE event times.
  • If you decide not to attend CRACKLE, you would need to purchase a GLEAM ticket to see the exhibit on another night.

  • Patrons are encouraged to bring lawn chairs; no seating will be provided outdoors

Lead by Executive Chef and Founder, Elena Terry, Wild Bearies is an educational, community outreach nonprofit that strives to bring ancestral foods to communities in a nurturing and nourishing way. Their team works with ingredients from seed to table, while promoting traditional food systems and farming techniques.

El Grito Taqueria - We use the tortilla as a vehicle to feature different regions of Mexico, as well as our own creative culinary explorations from around the world. El Grito Taqueria uses the highest quality products available in Southern Wisconsin. Using all natural, sustainably-produced ingredients we express our appreciation of the hard work and dedication of Midwestern farmers. 

Thailand In A Truck - NEW Madison food cart! - Thailand in a Truck offers curries, pad thai, and fried rice galore, including a good selection of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options!
