Children of the Rainforest: serevende marimba ensemble

Performances at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm
The Serevende Marimba Ensemble will wow the audience with a unique combination of multiple marimbas, from baritone to soprano, played together and accompanied by drums from Brazil, Cuba, and West Africa.
midwest gardening symposium: Incredible, edible gardens
February 19
8:30 am - 5 pm
Feed your soul, your soil, and your family by incorporating beautiful, edible plants into any type of garden. This symposium, co-sponsored by Olbrich Botanical Gardens and Allen Centennial Gardens, will illustrate how sustainable, edible gardens can help conserve non-renewable resources, reclaim the health of your soil, provide safe and flavorful foods, and create low-maintenance home landscapes.
Children of the Rainforest: hale o malo polynesian dance
