Quilts in Bloom
September 22 - October 14
10 am - 4 pm daily
$2 admission donation appreciated by all visitors
Every fall Olbrich's atrium is blooming with an amazing array of original art quilts. Visitors will marvel at the beautiful landscape quilts that from a distance could be mistaken for a painting. The show also exhibits traditional patchwork quilting in a variety of patterns and colors. A rainbow of chrysanthemums and other fall foliage are arranged to highlight the color palettes in each quilt!
The challenge quilter with the most votes was letter "J" titled "Koi III" by Sue Jackan.

Stroll through the Herb Garden to see how American quilting motifs have been translated into a beautiful garden design. Fall blooming crocus, Japanese anemone, azure sage, and yellow wax bells abound in a colorful symphony of autumn throughout the rest of the outdoor gardens.
