When you come to an Earthmother show, leave your expectations at the door. They pride themselves on making each show different and special. This is only possible due to the high quality musicianship each band member brings. Josy brings soulful blues guitar soloing that contrasts with his ability to make his guitar scream and shout with his Wah-Wah. Zack displays his technical and virtuosic proficiency on drums that is a sight to behold. Trevor provides a thundering foundation on bass to help glue the band together. The three of them together deliver a musical experience that you cannot get anywhere else.

Friday, March 4

Charanga Agozá

Charanga Agozá is a 10-member band that plays charanga music, a dance oriented musical genre that originated in Cuba at the turn of the twentieth century and peaked in the 1950s.

Friday, April 1

5 - 7 p.m.

The Honey Pies

Displaying a formidable range of musical backgrounds and notable depth of experience, The Honey Pies apply crystal vocal harmonies and virtuoso instrumental skills to the best of traditional, contemporary, and original Americana music. The Honey Pies is an exciting collaboration of Madison-based music veterans. Jodi Jean Amble made a major splash in the Chicago scene fronting her eponymous band - nominally jazz, but equally at home with pop, country, and more - and as a member of the highly eclectic ensemble Jenny Dragon. Tom Waselchuk leads the MAMA Award-winning Americana band The Dang-Its and has performed for more than twenty years in a free-swinging guitar duo with multi-instrumentalist Doug Brown. Doug has long been among the most in-demand freelance sidemen on the Madison music scene in a variety of genres, as well as being a band-leader, composer, and arranger. Matt Rodgers is among southern Wisconsin's busiest bass players, equally at home in most any style of music.
