JUN 04 thru SEPT 24	ONGOING: guided garden strolls Sundays, June - September 1:30 & 3 pm Get an insider's view of Olbrich's outdoor gardens during a free guided garden stroll. All ages are welcome for this casual overview of the Gardens.
JUN 04	IRIS SALE 12 pm - 5 pm The Madison Area Iris Society sponsors this sale of iris rhizomes, the roots that grow into iris plants. For more information call 608-271-3607.
SUN 11	HOSTA SALE 9 am - 3 pm Pick up some interesting hostas to add to your collection at the Wisconsin Hosta Society's Plant Sale. These shade-loving perennials, prized for their interesting foliage, come in a variety of sizes, shapes, and colors. For more information e-mail wihostasociety@gmail.com.
SAT 17	oLBRICH bOTANICAL gARDENS cLOSED Olbrich's outdoor gardens, Bolz Conservatory, Growing Gifts shop, and Botanical Center are closed all day in preparation for Rhapsody in Bloom.
SAT 17	RHAPSODY IN BLOOM 5 - 10 pm Come dine and drift through gorgeous summer gardens at Olbrich Botanical Gardens' Rhapsody in Bloom Benefit Gala. Mingle with friends throughout the lush summer gardens, then enjoy dinner under elegant white tents at Madison's largest garden party. For ticket information and reservations call 608-246-5616.
SUN 18	rose show 12 - 5 pm The Madison Rose Society hosts this indoor exhibit of cut roses and arrangements in all sizes and colors. Members of the Rose Society will be available to answer questions. Stroll through Olbrich's two acre Rose Garden. Sponsored by the Madison Rose Society. For more information call 608-634-2146. Free and open to the public.
TUE 20	concerts in the gardenS TBA 7 - 8 pm Enjoy the evening with a concert on the Great Lawn of Olbrich's outdoor gardens. Bring a lawn chair or blanket. Picnics are allowed in the Gardens for Tuesday concerts only. Hotdogs and brats will be available for purchase from the Madison East Kiwanis Club. In case of rain, concerts will be held indoors. A $1 admission donation is suggested.
TUE 25	HERB DAY 10 am - 4 pm Bring your kids, friends and family and come celebrate medicinal herbs andÂ plants with us! Free classes indoors,Â and herb walks in the garden are featured all day. Shop the Herbal Marketplace between your chosen events for herbal teas, tinctures, salves, soaps, plants and books. Free admission for everyone! MAR 19 thru JULY 10	Ongoing: Bolz conservatory exhibit LIGHT GAPS The trees are trimmed, the bushes pruned, and it’s time to see the light in the forest. Learn how plants develop and change in the forest as light fluctuates. When a gap in the forest is created naturally or by a clipping from Olbrich’s staff, growth develops at an exceptional rate. The conservatory is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Admission is $2 for the general public. Admission is always free for Olbrich Botanical Society members and children 5 and under, and is free for the general public on Wednesday and Saturday mornings from 10 a.m. to noon.

Olbrich Botanical Gardens is operated as a public-private partnership between the City of Madison Parks Division and the Olbrich Botanical Society.
