 Tickets on Sale for Rhapsody in Bloom Benefit
Tickets to Rhapsody in Bloom, Madison's largest garden party, go on sale to the public starting April 1. Tickets are $110 each, or buy a table of eight for $880. Rhapsody in Bloom on Saturday, June 21, features hors d' oeuvres among the flowers and dinner in the outdoor gardens. Enjoy Olbrich's Rose Garden with night lighting. You'll also have the chance to bid on exotic plants. Olbrich Botanical Gardens will be closed to the public all day on June 21 to prepare for Rhapsody in Bloom. Bolz Conservatory Exhibit - Light Gaps
The trees are trimmed, the bushes pruned, and it's time to see the light in the forest. Learn about light and how plants develop and change in the forest as light fluctuates. Admission to the Conservatory is $1. The Conservatory is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $1 for the general public. Admission is always free for Olbrich Botanical Society members and children 5 and under, and is free for the general public on Wednesday and Saturday mornings from 10 a.m. to noon. Member Presale: Olbrich's Leaf Mulch Sale

Become a member of the Olbrich Botanical Society and shop early for leaf mulch! The shredded, composted leaves enrich soil and provide nourishment and protection for your gardens, shrubs, and trees. Olbrich's environmentally-friendly leaf mulch also helps control weeds, holds in water, and looks great. Enjoy the convenience of drive-through service. Bus Trip: Cincinnati Flower Show

Join Olbrich as we travel to America's most acclaimed flower show featuring world class exhibits, social events, gardening and plant markets, a lecture series, and tours. The Cincinnati Flower Show is the only North American flower and garden show endorsed by the Royal Horticultural Society of Great Britain, producer of the world-renowned Chelsea Flower Show. In addition, the Cincinnati Fine Food Show has been created as an event within an event at the Flower Show. Explore new and exotic fine foods from some of the best local and national suppliers. Nationally known vendors like Robert Rothschild Farm and Paula Deen's Smithfield Specialty Foods will be part of the show. It all takes place on the banks of Lake Como at Coney Island, Cincinnati, Ohio. We'll stay at a conveniently located downtown hotel with easy access to shops and museums. Our trip includes 3 nights lodging, some meals, a two-day show pass, and transportation. Members of Olbrich's horticulture staff will accompany you on the trip. Olbrich Leaf Mulch will be available at the Gardens from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day of the week, while supplies last. Bags are $6 each, including tax. Pay for leaf mulch in the lobby, then drive around to the parking lot to load your own bags. |
