Celebrating the Land: The Joy of Troy Gardens
July 4 - September 26
Sundays, 11 am - 5 pm
Inspired by the beauty and land ethic of Troy Gardens, 22 artists offer their interpretations of this popular northside community garden through photography, painting, drawing, wall sculpture, and fiber art in an exhibit titled "Celebrating the Land: The Joy of Troy Gardens." The exhibit is open on Sundays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., from July 4 through September 26 at Olbrich Botanical Gardens.
"Celebrating the Land: The Joy of Troy Gardens" is an exhibit by members of the Northside Artist Group, in partnership with Community Groundworks at Troy Gardens. Each artist was inspired by different aspects of Troy Gardens, from the chicken coops, to the community garden plots, children’s garden, or winter season.
Many pieces of art in the exhibit are for sale and a portion of the proceeds benefit Olbrich Botanical Gardens.
