Planning a Visit to Olbrich
Information & Reservations
Olbrich Botanical Gardens offers visitors of all ages inspiration and beauty no matter the season. We invite you to come explore Olbrich Botanical Gardens by yourself or with friends and family.
Whether planning a self-guided visit, or scheduling a guided tour, groups of 15 or more people are requested to call at least two weeks prior to their arrival to be added to the daily schedule.
Reservations for guided tours must be made at least two weeks in advance and are dependant upon availability. Please call 608-246-4550 to make a group reservation.
Guided Group Tours
- Get an insider's view of our outdoor gardens or Bolz Conservatory
during a guided tour let by Olbrich's expert garden staff.
- Tours will vary somewhat according to season to reflect the garden
areas that are at peak interest.
- Standard fees, times, and passes may be temporarily suspended
for special events.
- Tours are held rain or shine and will be cancelled only in the
event of dangerous lightning.
Outdoor Gardens
- A
45-minute guided tour of Olbrich's 16-acre display gardens.
- Tours will vary somewhat according to season to reflect the garden
areas that are at peak interest.
- Standard fees, times, and passes may be temporarily suspended
for special events.
- Tours are held rain or shine and will be cancelled only in the
event of dangerous lightning.

Payment is due upon arrival, directly to the tour guide with
cash or check only.
(Groups must be a minimum of 10 people.
Groups of less than 10 people are welcome to reserve a guided
tour for a $30 payment.)

Conservatory
Enjoy a tropical paradise in Olbrich's two-story glass pyramid filled with exotic plants, fragrant orchids, a rushing waterfall, and free-flying birds.
Standard fees, times, and passes may be temporarily suspended for special events.

Self-guided tours of Olbrich Botanical Gardens offer incredible value in a setting unmatched for beauty, relaxation, and inspiration. Self-Guided Group Tours are perfect for those groups who prefer to explore the Gardens at their leisure without a guide.

is due upon arrival at the greeter's desk with cash or check only.
Garden guide and map brochures of the outdoor gardens may be purchased at the
greeter's desk for 25 cents.
Guide and map brochures of the Bolz Conservatory are complimentary.
Group Size;
Minimum - 15 people,
Maximum - 80 people
Reservations
Group reservations only need to be made if the group is larger than 15 people. Groups of 14 people and fewer do not need advanced reservations.
Reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance and are dependent upon availability.
